Raz Dual Triggers put both release triggers on the same push handle of a Raz mobile shower commode chair instead of one on each side. This version, code ZDTR, places both triggers on the right handle. On a tilt-only or recline-only chair the two triggers can be grouped together on either the left or the right side, so a carer can hold the client or the chair with one hand and release the tilt or recline with the other.
The triggers are the blue Raz release levers used across the range. The option is fitted to the chair at order or retrofitted by a technician.
Key features
- Both triggers on the right push handle
- One-handed release of tilt or recline
- Fits Raz AP, SP, AT, CAT and ART chairs
- Left-hand version (ZDTL) also available
- Raz order codes Z5DTL/R for the AT and Z5DTL/RC for the CAT
Who it suits
A carer who is right-hand dominant, has reduced strength or dexterity in the left hand, or who must keep one hand on the client during tilt, for example with a client who has spasm or poor trunk control. It also suits a bathroom where the chair can only be approached from one side. If the carer changes from shift to shift and has no side preference, the standard one-trigger-each-side layout is simpler.
Good to know
- Specify the chair model and serial number when ordering so the correct trigger kit is supplied
- Fitting by a technician is recommended
- Chair not included
