The Raz-CAT is the compact version of the Raz-AT attendant tilt shower commode, built for paediatric, adolescent and smaller adult clients. The seat frame tilts up to 40 degrees with gas spring assistance, adjusting anywhere in the range. It comes in 405 mm (16 in), 455 mm (18 in) and 510 mm (20 in) base frame widths, the back frame adjusts for depth from 305 to 380 mm to allow for growth, and the seat height is 535 to 635 mm. The safe working load is 115 kg.
The frame is stainless steel with a lifetime warranty against corrosion. The chair weighs 25 kg, runs on four 125 mm dual-locking castors and includes a head support with small pad, tool-free height adjustable foot supports and a visco foam seat with a tapered oblong aperture. The 18 inch frame fits over most toilets; the 16 inch frame will not fit over a standard toilet.
