The Etac My-Loo Fixed is a raised toilet seat that bolts to the toilet pan in place of the existing seat, with a pair of arm supports for pushing up and lowering down. It comes in 20, 60 and 100 mm heights so the raise can be matched to the client’s leg length and the pan height. The seat is 360 mm wide and 400 mm deep with a 230 x 360 mm opening, the arms are 480 mm apart and adjust to 135, 165 or 205 mm above the seat, and the safe working load is 150 kg.
The arms fold up out of the way and either can be removed, so the seat can be used with one arm on a wall side. Quick-nuts fix it from above without reaching under the pan. The seat is polypropylene with a soft TPE surface, the arms polypropylene on stainless steel, and it is wipe clean. Manufacturer warranty is 5 years.

Who it suits
A client who needs a modest, stable raise and something to push up on, for example after hip or knee replacement, with arthritis in the knees, or with reduced balance, and who has a toilet of their own where a fixed fitting is acceptable. The 20 mm suits a client who mostly needs the arms; 100 mm suits a tall client or a low pan. For a rental property or a client who cannot fit a bolt-on seat, an over-toilet frame gives similar support without tools, and a client above 150 kg needs the support legs added.
