The Arjo Carendo is an electric hygiene chair for assisted showering, toileting and personal care. The seat raises from 510 mm to 1050 mm on battery power, so the carer washes and dries the client at a working height instead of bending, and the Care Raiser function tilts the user into a raised, open position for cleaning and drying the lower body. Safe working load is 136 kg.
The chair is 640 mm wide and 865 mm long on four braked 100 mm castors, with a high padded backrest and padded arm supports that rise with the seat.
