This digital calendar day clock spells out the day of the week, the time and the date in large, clear characters on a backlit LED screen. It is made for a client who cannot easily read a conventional clock face or who asks repeatedly what day it is. Two sizes are available: a 10 inch (255 mm) screen and a 12 inch (305 mm) screen for reading from further across a room.
It can stand on a bedside table or hang on a wall, and it runs from mains power so there is no battery to replace or clock to reset.
Key features
- Displays day of the week, time and date in full words, no abbreviations
- Two screen sizes: 10 inch (255 mm) and 12 inch (305 mm)
- High-contrast LED display that can be read across a room
- Stands on a table or mounts on a wall

Who it suits
A client with dementia, memory loss or delirium recovery who is disoriented to day and time, and a client with low vision who cannot read a standard clock. Place it where they wake up or eat, at eye level from their usual chair. If the client also needs spoken prompts for medication or appointments, look at a talking reminder clock instead.
Good to know
- Choose the 12 inch model for a lounge room or when the client sits more than three metres from the clock
- Mains powered: position it near a power point
- Check with us about display language options and any alarm or reminder functions before ordering
