The Bodypoint Evoflex is a pelvic stabiliser built around stiffened end straps. Standard belts drop out of position between uses and have to be fished out from beside the client. The Evoflex straps stay where they are set and pivot forward and back, so the belt is presented ready to fasten and stays clear during a transfer.
It suits clients who are in and out of the chair through the day, carers doing repeated transfers, and clients who fasten the belt themselves. The centre pull means both sides tighten from the middle, so pelvic position can be set symmetrically with one action. The push-button buckle is the lighter of Bodypoint’s buckle options and is available with security features where unfastening is a risk.
Mounting uses spring washers that hold the belt away from the drive wheels. The belt works with a sub-ASIS pad where anterior pelvic tilt needs blocking.
