This standard gas lift stool is a round, padded seat on a five-star base with castors. A lever under the seat raises or lowers it on a gas strut so the user can set the height for the task at hand: a treatment couch, a workbench or a kitchen bench. The seat swivels and the castors let the user move without standing.
It is upholstered in vinyl for wipe-down cleaning and is available in black, grey or navy blue. Assembly is a few minutes: the seat, gas lift and base push together.

Who it suits
Allied health rooms, nurse treatment areas and podiatry or wound care clinics where the clinician needs to sit low and move between the client and a bench. At home it suits a client who cannot stand for long at a bench and wants a seat that rolls. It is not a perching or shower stool, and a client with poor sitting balance needs a seat with a backrest and a locking base rather than a swivel stool on castors.
