The Homecraft Dressing Stick is the standard dressing aid for clients who cannot bend to their feet or reach behind their back. It is a 520 mm wooden stick with a double wire hook at one end for catching waistbands, straps and loops, and a rubber-tipped end for pushing clothing away or holding it still. At 36 g it is light enough to use one-handed for a whole dressing routine.
The wood is sized for a comfortable grip and the stick wipes clean. It is often supplied with a sock aid and long shoehorn as a set for lower-body dressing after surgery.

Who it suits
A client on hip precautions after replacement, with a stiff or painful back, limited shoulder range, or one-handed dressing after stroke. It covers pulling trousers over the feet, pushing socks off and reaching a sleeve or collar. A client with a weak grip who needs extra length may prefer a longer reacher with a trigger jaw.
