The Homecraft Queens Cutlery Set gives a client with reduced grip a thicker handle to hold. Each piece has a smooth cylindrical ABS handle 98 mm long and 30 mm in diameter, slightly tapered so it sits in the palm without the fingers needing to close tightly. The stainless steel heads are a standard shape, so the set looks like ordinary cutlery at the table.
The set includes a knife, fork, spoon and teaspoon. The handles are sealed for hygiene and the set is dishwasher safe.

Who it suits
A client with arthritis, reduced hand strength or limited finger flexion who can hold a thick handle but struggles with standard cutlery. If the client also has tremor or limited wrist movement, a weighted or angled cutlery set will do more than a built-up handle alone.
