The Karma Ergo Lite Deluxe is a folding self-propelled wheelchair that weighs 10.2 kg in the 16 inch size. The aluminium frame carries Karma’s S-Ergo seat, which is shaped to spread pressure over the seat rather than at the sit bones, and 20 inch (510 mm) solid rear wheels with push rims. It is available in 405 mm (16 in) and 455 mm (18 in) seat widths, both with a 405 mm (16 in) seat depth, and the safe working load is 100 kg.
The backrest folds down and the frame folds to 310 mm wide for the car boot. Footrests swing away and lift off for transfers, the armrests are shaped to slide under a desk, and the brakes are push-to-lock.

Who it suits
An adult under 100 kg who self-propels short distances indoors and out and needs a chair that a partner or carer can lift into a car. The fixed 480 mm seat height and the desk-style armrests suit table and desk use. A client who spends most of the day in the chair, or who needs seat height, back angle or leg rest adjustment, is better served by a configurable lightweight chair.
