The Molift Air 200 is a ceiling hoist motor that rides on an overhead track and lifts clients who cannot take weight through their legs. This model (M26359) adds a propulsion motor that drives the hoist along the rail at 0.2 m per second from the hand control, and in-rail charging so the battery tops up wherever the hoist is parked. Safe working load is 205 kg, lifting speed is 60 mm per second with a 75 kg load, and the lifting range is 2600 mm.
The lift unit weighs 8.6 kg without the sling bar and measures 360 x 190 x 195 mm, so it sits close to the ceiling and is quick to release from the trolley for service. Soft start and stop keep the lift quiet at 52 dBA. Sling bar, slings, track and installation are quoted separately.

- Mechanical and electrical emergency lowering, emergency stop reachable from the floor by cord
- 25.6 V LiFePO4 2.4 Ah battery, 6 hour charge time, IP24 rating

Who it suits
A client who needs two-person or dependent transfers several times a day, for example with advanced MS, motor neurone disease, high-level spinal cord injury or later-stage dementia, where a floor hoist takes up too much room or the carer cannot manoeuvre one. The propulsion motor matters when a single carer is moving a heavy client across a room or between rooms on a traverse system, or when the client operates the hoist independently. For a client who only needs occasional transfers in one spot, a manual-traverse Molift Air 200 or a mobile floor hoist is a cheaper option.
