The Oscar Barwon is a lift recliner chair made in Australia by Oscar Furniture and built to order for the client. The lift mechanism raises the chair to help the user stand, and the recline and tilt give a resting position through the day. Standard capacity is 130 kg, or 180 kg with the heavy duty two motor mechanism.
Sizing is by user height. Mini suits 122 to 157 cm, A 157 to 173 cm, B 173 to 180 cm and C 180 cm and over. Seat width is 540 mm in every standard size, so the sizes differ in seat depth (420 to 530 mm), seat height (440 to 500 mm) and back height (630 to 670 mm).

Who it suits
Clients who struggle to rise from a standard armchair and need powered assistance to stand, including people with arthritis, cardiac or respiratory conditions, or general deconditioning.
