The OSKA Aria+ is a hybrid pressure care mattress with no pump. Five transverse air cells sit inside a foam U-shaped core, and the cells adjust to the client’s weight and position every time they are repositioned, so pressure is spread without any power supply. It is rated for prevention and management of pressure injuries up to category 2 on its own, and the safe working load is 230 kg. Available in single (880 x 2000 mm) and king single (1070 x 2000 mm).
The foam side walls give a firm edge for sitting on the bed and transfers, and there is a foam head section and heel relief zone. A vapour permeable waterproof cover protects the core and wipes clean. The optional Aria+ pump (MA1140) can be added later to lift the mattress to category 3 and 4 use with a 250 kg load.

Who it suits
A client with a medium to high pressure injury risk who is nursed at home or in residential care and does not want the noise or cabling of a powered mattress. It is a good fit for clients who still move in bed and who transfer from the bed edge, since the foam walls stay firm. For a client with an existing category 3 or 4 injury, add the Aria+ pump or choose a fully powered alternating mattress instead.
