The Oxford Access Padded sling is a toileting and hygiene sling for clients with good head control. The leg and back sections are fully padded for comfort, and the open design below the waist lets a carer adjust clothing while the client is in the sling. A non-slip section on the back stops the sling riding up during the lift. It attaches to loop-style spreader bars and comes in five sizes from extra small to extra large.
The sling is polyester, machine washable and quick to fit around a seated client. Oxford supplies a measuring guide so the size can be matched to the client before ordering.

Who it suits
A client with reliable head and trunk control who is hoisted between wheelchair and toilet or commode and needs clothing moved while suspended. The client must be able to hold their head and upper body upright and keep their arms outside the sling; it is not a full-support sling. A client with poor head control, low tone or a tendency to slide should use the Oxford Access Padded with head support, or a full-back universal sling for general transfers.
