The Oxford Full Back is the standard full body sling for passive hoist transfers. It supports the client from head to thigh with an integrated boned head support and padded leg sections, so it suits a client who cannot hold their head or trunk up during the lift. The safe working load is 227 kg and the sling attaches with colour-coded loops that give a choice of positions on the spreader bar.
The polyester fabric is stain resistant and washes at up to 85 degrees. Positioning handles on the back let a carer adjust the client in the chair after the lift, and a modesty loop holds the leg sections together. Available in extra small, small, medium, large and extra large, with colour-coded binding for size.

Who it suits
A client who needs a full lift from bed to chair or commode and has poor or no head and trunk control, for example a client with advanced dementia, MND, high spinal cord injury or after a stroke with dense hemiplegia. It is the everyday sling for a passive mobile or ceiling hoist. For a client who can sit unsupported and needs the sling only for the lift, a universal sling without head support gives more freedom; for showering, choose the net version of the same sling.
