This version of the Oxford Presence is a bariatric patient lifter rated to 227 kg with an integrated four point powered positioning cradle in place of the standard spreader bar. The carer tilts the client from reclined to upright, or back again, from the handset while they are in the sling. That removes the pushing and pulling on the spreader bar that is hard on carers and uncomfortable for larger clients.
The lift range with the powered cradle is 390 to 1550 mm. Powered swan neck legs open from 670 mm closed to 1150 mm externally. The aluminium hoist weighs 47 kg.

Who it suits
Bariatric clients in aged care, hospital and home settings, particularly those with poor trunk control, pain on repositioning, or a need to be moved between lying and seated positions during the transfer. It also suits sites managing carer injury risk on heavier transfers.
