About this product

The ProSling General Purpose with Head Support is a full-body hoist sling with an integrated head section for clients who cannot hold their head up during a transfer. It lifts from a chair, a bed or the floor, and the three-loop straps on each side give a range of seated and reclined positions on a yoke or loop spreader bar. Safe working load is 205 kg in small and medium and 300 kg in large, extra large and XXL.

The fabric is 100 percent polyester mesh, so it dries quickly after showering and washes at up to 85 degrees. Leg sections carry 3 mm quilted foam. Each size has colour-coded straps and bright handles for positioning the sling and the client.

Who it suits

A client who needs full hoist transfers and cannot control their head, for example after a stroke, with advanced dementia or with a neurological condition, and who is showered or toileted in a mesh sling. The mesh suits shared use in a facility because it dries fast between washes. For a client who can hold their head and needs easier toileting access, the general purpose sling without head support or a toileting sling gives better clearance.
