This is a back support with side laterals for the R82 Crocodile posterior walking aid. It mounts to the rear frame and gives the child something to sit back against, helping to hold the pelvis in position and reduce sideways drift while walking.
It suits children who can take steps in the Crocodile but lose their upright position without contact at the pelvis and lower trunk. The laterals give control in the frontal plane, which can allow a child to concentrate on stepping rather than on staying upright.
Two sizes are made so the support can be matched to the Crocodile frame size in use.
