The R82 Torso Vest is a positioning vest that supports the upper body and gives a firm but flexible hold against the chest. It fixes to the backrest of the seat and wraps round the trunk, so a child with low tone or poor trunk control stays upright and centred without shoulder straps digging in. It is made in six sizes, from XS for a shoulder to pelvis length of 200 to 270 mm, up to XXL for 520 to 600 mm.
The vest fits R82 seating including the x:panda, Kudu, Wombat Solo and Wombat Living, and mounts to the backrest with the supplied fixings. Sizing is taken from the R82 vests and belts measurement guide.

Who it suits
A child in an R82 seating system who leans or collapses forward and needs more than a pelvic belt but does not need a rigid thoracic support. It is the usual next step from a chest strap. For a child with strong extensor thrust or asymmetry, laterals and a four-point harness give more control than a vest.
