About this product

The Raizer II lifting chair is a floor lift for people who have fallen and cannot get up. One carer assembles the chair around the person where they lie, then a battery driven motor raises them from the floor to near standing in 20 to 30 seconds. Safe working load is 150 kg, the assembled chair is 688 mm wide and 655 mm deep, and it splits into parts with the heaviest at 9.2 kg.

Key features

  • Lifts one person from the floor to near standing
  • 20 to 30 seconds per lift, operated by one carer
  • 150 kg safe working load
  • 40 lifts per charge at full load, about 80 at average load
  • Splits into parts for carrying, heaviest 9.2 kg, 14.1 kg in total
  • Aluminium legs with polycarbonate and ABS seat and backrests

Who it suits

Suits clients who fall regularly at home or in residential care and have no injury requiring an ambulance, but cannot be lifted by a carer or a partner. It reduces long lies on the floor and the manual handling risk to family and staff, and it is often supplied alongside a falls alarm or pendant. Compared with an inflatable cushion, it gives a firm, chair-shaped lift with a backrest.

  • Stored in parts and assembled at the point of the fall
  • LiFePO4 12 V 5 Ah battery, up to 6 hours to charge
