These are Raz Design’s standard flip-up arm supports for their mobile shower commode range, supplied as a pair with the 330 mm (13 in) padded arm pad. The arms mount to the back frame, adjust for height and angle, and flip up and back so the client can slide across for a lateral transfer or the carer can get close for personal care. The closed cell foam pad is about 320 x 42 mm and drains and dries quickly.
They fit the Raz-AP and SP attendant and self propelled commodes, the Raz-AT and CAT tilt models, the Raz-ART rotational tilt and the Zum. A 250 mm (10 in) short arm version is available for smaller clients or a shorter reach.

Who it suits
A client who slide transfers onto a Raz commode, or whose carer needs the arm out of the way during showering and toileting. Standard 330 mm pads suit most adults; for a client with a short upper arm, or where the arm needs to sit further back to clear a basin, choose the 250 mm short arm. On the recline models (AT, CAT, ART) the two-point arm option keeps the pad parallel to the seat when the back is reclined.
Good to know
- Supplied as a pair with pads and mounting hardware; pads can be replaced separately
- Confirm the commode model and year when ordering so the correct mount is supplied
- An arm support lock kit and a pivoting arm mount are optional extras
