The Katie Low Back Chair is a multi adjustable day chair designed in Australia. Seat height adjusts from 450 to 575 mm in 25 mm steps, so the chair can be set for safe sit to stand and for foot contact on the floor.
The seat measures 480 mm between the armrests. The backrest is contoured, 480 mm high and set at 98 degrees, giving support through the lumbar and lower thoracic spine while leaving the shoulders free. Armrests are large and padded to assist with pushing up on standing.
Rear wheels let a carer move the chair without lifting it, and the backrest folds for transport. The frame is epoxy powder coated with vinyl upholstery, which wipes clean and suits shared or clinical settings.
