About this product

A threshold ramp bridges a small step at a doorway or a level change between rooms. It lets a wheelchair, walker or scooter cross without lifting, and reduces trip risk for people walking.

The ramp is moulded from recycled rubber, which gives it weight so it holds position without fixing, and a textured surface for grip. Rubber also absorbs the noise and jolt of a wheel crossing it. It can be cut down with a utility knife where a doorway is narrower than the standard width.

Different heights are made to match the step being crossed, so the height should be measured before ordering. Some versions are available with side wings, which taper the edges where people walk alongside the ramp rather than straight over it.

  • Material: recycled rubber, made in Australia
  • Heights available: 25 mm, 35 mm and 40 mm in this listing
  • Gradient: 1:10
  • Surface: textured for slip resistance
  • Use: indoor and outdoor, home, workplace and retail entry
  • Can be trimmed to width on site

Measure the exact rise at the threshold and the clear door width before selecting a height. A therapist assessment is worth doing where the ramp sits on a main access path.
