The KCare KA112S is an attendant propelled mobile shower commode. The carer pushes from a rear handle, and the chair rolls over a toilet or into the shower, so the client can be showered and toileted without extra transfers.
The loop style arms swing up and out of the way, which clears the side for a lateral or hoist assisted transfer. The footplate slides out for use and retracts for transfers. It is a non weight bearing footplate, so it supports the feet in sitting but should not be stood on.
The frame is rust resistant and the seat and backrest use waterproof, easy clean materials suited to daily shower use. Seat width is chosen at order. The wider seats carry a higher rating, so match the seat width to the client rather than ordering on hip width alone.
