The Talley Quattro Plus is an alternating air mattress that replaces the standard bed mattress for clients at high to very high risk of pressure injury. It runs a 1 in 4 cycle: at any moment one cell in four is deflated and the other three carry the client, which keeps the surface stable while still relieving pressure at each point over the 16 minute cycle. The cells are 180 mm deep and the system is rated to 200 kg.
The pump is included and hangs on the bed end with the supplied brackets. The multi-stretch cover is waterproof, vapour permeable and has welded seams for infection control, and a CPR release deflates the mattress fast in an emergency.

Bed bound or largely immobile clients with existing pressure injuries or a high risk of developing them, in the home, aged care or hospital. The 1 in 4 cycle is chosen where a 1 in 2 system feels unstable or unsettling for the client, or where more support under the body is wanted during the cycle.
