Spex Quad Mount Fixed is a four point wheelchair back support mount for a permanent set up. It gives 40 mm of seat depth adjustment at fitting, extending to 100 mm with the depth extension accessory, and 25 mm of overall width adjustment. Back angle is not adjustable and the back support cannot be removed without tools. The hardware weighs 0.6 kg and fits cane diameters from 19 to 26 mm.
The published safe working load is 136 kg with the larger back support sizes; the rating is lower with narrow backs, so ask us for the figure for the size you are fitting.

Who it suits
Clients with a stable prescription who need the lateral stability of a four point mount but do not need to take the back off the chair. The depth adjustment leaves room to fine tune seat depth at fitting and at review, without the cost and bulk of an angle mechanism the client will never use.
