The Molift Raiser Pro is a manual sit to stand transfer platform from Etac. The client places their feet on the low 35 mm step-on plate, holds the handle and pulls up to standing while the carer supports from behind; the carer then wheels the platform the short distance to the next surface. There is no motor or battery. The safe working load is 170 kg and the platform is 540 mm wide, so it passes through standard doorways.
At 10.7 kg in total it separates into a baseplate and handle for transport in a car, which suits community therapists and respite settings.

Who it suits
Clients who can take weight through their legs and grip a handle but cannot complete a stand and step transfer safely: stroke, MS, Parkinson’s, post-surgical weakness. It keeps the client active in the transfer and reduces the carer’s manual handling load. It is not a substitute for a hoist for a client with no weight bearing ability.
