About this product

The Handicare QuickMove is a manual sit to stand transfer aid. The client puts their feet on the base, holds the handles and pulls to standing with the carer steadying from behind; adjustable buttock cushions angle in to support them once up, and the carer wheels the platform to the next surface. There is no battery and nothing to charge. Safe working load is 170 kg, and the base width adjusts from 455 to 830 mm between the legs to get around chair and bed legs.

The QuickMove weighs 35 kg and is 605 mm wide overall, so it moves through standard doorways.

Key features

  • Non-powered, no battery or charging

Who it suits

Clients who can partly weight bear and hold on, but whose standing transfer is unsafe for one carer without equipment. The buttock cushions make it suitable for clients who cannot stay fully upright once standing, which sets it apart from a plain standing platform. Used in aged care, disability accommodation and home care to cut manual handling injuries.
