The KCare KA113S is a transit, or attendant propelled, mobile shower commode. It rolls over a toilet and into the shower so one chair covers both tasks.
The difference from the standard model is the footplate. It slides out and is weight bearing, so the client can take load through the feet during a sit to stand or step transfer. That matters for clients who use a stand transfer rather than a hoist.
Swing up loop arms clear the side for lateral transfers. The backrest uses a three strap design that opens for perineal access. Four 125 mm total lock castors hold the chair still during transfers. The frame is rust resistant, and the seat and backrest surfaces are waterproof and easy to clean.
