The K Care straight grab rail is a 32 mm diameter stainless steel rail with concealed flanges, so the fixings are hidden behind a cover once installed. It is made from 304 grade stainless steel and complies with Australian standards for grab rails. Lengths run from 300 mm to 1200 mm, which covers a short rail beside a toilet through to a long rail along a shower wall.
The rail can be installed horizontally, vertically or angled, and each flange has multiple fixing points. It suits home and hospital bathrooms and wipes clean with normal bathroom cleaners.

Who it suits
A client who needs a fixed handhold to steady themselves at the toilet, in the shower or at a step, where a rail can be screwed into solid wall framing or masonry. Pick the length by the movement you want to support: 300 to 600 mm for a single pull-up point, 900 to 1200 mm for a rail the client slides a hand along. Where the wall cannot be fixed into, or the client is renting, a suction or floor-mounted rail is the better option.
Good to know
- Installation by a licensed tradesperson into suitable wall structure is required; fixings are not supplied
- Ask us about matching angled and offset rails in the same range
- Choose the length to suit the client’s reach and the wall space available
