The Molift Quattro is a freestanding four-post gantry that carries a portable ceiling hoist across a room without drilling into the ceiling or walls. Two parallel rails on the posts support a traverse rail that slides across the room, so the hoist can reach the bed, a chair and the floor anywhere inside the footprint. It is offered in 3 x 3 m and 4 x 4 m sizes.
The system bolts together from aluminium rail sections and posts and can be dismantled and moved to another room or another home. It suits rental properties, heritage buildings and short-term care where a fixed track is not possible.
Key features
- Freestanding, no fixing to walls or ceiling
- 3 x 3 m or 4 x 4 m footprint with full-room traverse coverage
- Compatible with Molift Air and Molift Nomad portable ceiling hoists
- Aluminium rails and posts, can be dismantled and relocated
- Two-way (X-Y) rail system for lifting anywhere inside the frame
Who it suits
A client who needs hoisted transfers in a room where a ceiling track cannot be fitted, or where the tenancy or funding decision does not yet justify a permanent installation. Coverage across the whole footprint means the client can be lifted from bed, chair or floor without a mobile hoist crowding the room. Where the ceiling can take a track, a fixed Molift rail system is neater and leaves the floor clear; where only a single line between bed and chair is needed, a straight freestanding rail on two posts may be enough.
Good to know
- Hoist, sling and spreader bar are not included; ask us to quote the gantry with a Molift Air or Nomad hoist
- Installed and commissioned by our trained technicians; allow floor space for the four post feet
- Check ceiling height and door access before choosing the 4 x 4 m size
