The Molift Nomad Extension Arm fits between the ceiling rail trolley and the Nomad portable ceiling hoist. It drops the hoist to a working height that a carer can reach, so the Nomad can be connected and disconnected from the rail without tools, and it gives the lifting strap the travel it needs in rooms with a high rail. Two lengths are made, 900 and 1050 mm, both with a safe working load of 255 kg.
The arm weighs under 1 kg (0.78 kg for the 900 mm, 0.82 kg for the 1050 mm). It is a Molift accessory with a 2 year warranty.

Who it suits
Any installation where the Molift Nomad is used on a ceiling or freestanding rail and the trolley sits above comfortable reach, or where the client is lifted from the floor and the strap needs the extra travel. Choose the length to suit the ceiling height and the lowest lift position; ask us to check it against the room before ordering. It is not needed on the Molift Rail System with a fixed hoist.
