The JAY shoe holder mounts to the wheelchair footplate and holds the foot in position through the day. It uses two foot straps with a side release buckle, plus heel and lateral foot support, so it suits clients with moderate to high tone whose feet slide forward or off the footplate.
Holding the feet, heels and ankles in alignment widens the base of support through the seating system and helps maintain posture higher up the body. The side release buckle lets a carer apply and remove the holder quickly.
