What is a home care bed?

An electrically adjustable bed that raises and lowers, lifts the backrest and knee break, and takes rails, poles and a pressure care mattress. It makes transfers, care and sleep safer for the person and the carer, and looks like furniture in a bedroom.

Do you deliver and assemble beds?

Yes. We deliver, assemble, fit the mattress and accessories and show the person and carer how to use the handset, Tasmania-wide.

Can we hire a bed?

Yes. Home care beds and pressure mattresses are among our most hired items, for short term recovery, palliative care or while a purchase is being funded. Ask about hire when you enquire.

How is a bed funded?

We quote in the format the funder needs. NDIS (self, plan or agency managed), Home Care Packages and Support at Home, DVA and private purchase are all common. Send us the OT report or script and we do the paperwork.
